One of the things I love about doing the podcast is the new music I discover while doing it. Most of the time, the conversation on the podcast turns to talking about other bands we like, with our guests offering their own recommendations. That’s how I came to know Follow That Bird. When Jared and Amarah from The Sour Notes were on our show, one of the bands they were excited about was Follow That Bird and after months of trying to work out schedules, we were finally able to get them on the show. It marks the first time we’ve recorded a full band (electric guitar, bass, drums) on the podcast. In spite of the challenges it presented with downstairs neighbors on hardwood floors, it turned out really good. Unfortunately, Stephanie was unable to be there when we recorded but Amarah jumped right in to fill her shoes and did a fantastic job asking all the hard hitting questions.
